Sean Edwards was born September 29, 1971 at Castle AFB, California. He began his martial arts training in 1983 studying Judo at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. After years of military transfers, he began serious study in Shotokan karate under Sandan Vladimir Jacildo in Great Falls, MT. Sensei Jacildo transferred 1-1/2 years later leaving a void that many instructors unsuccessfully tried to fill at that dojo. Edwards was invited to study Shirinji karate and Xtreme Tactics Advanced Fighting Arts under Sensei Jon Fukushima in 1993 and continued training and then teaching until 1998. Sean then met and trained under Soke Kent Haralson in Lewistown, MT, received his Shodan in Seigi Bushido Ryu June of 2002, and began teaching in his own Dojo shortly thereafter. Sensei Edwards is currently the Rocky Mountain Regional Director for the GMAU and hosted the 2005 Rocky Mountain Regional Clinic. He has taught at and attended many clinics and conferences.
Edwards works in sales and owns his own Montana based distributing business. Sean has been married to wife Kamron, also an accomplished student of Seigi Bushido Ryu, since 2001. They have 2 children, Trinity and Asher.
